Messy Saints at St Johns

This year, St Johns Church has rolled out a programme of MESSY SAINTS workshops for the local community, by inviting children and their families to take part in arts and crafts at church.  Organised by volunteers, the two-hour sessions have been running during school term breaks and are based on seasonal themes.  The children have really enjoyed coming along , one messy saint said: "it was the best thing I did all week!"

Messy Saints has had an overwhelming response filling the church with busy little people letting their creative juices flow.  Alongside the fun and mess, children have learned about Christian celebrations and are invited to Sunday services to show off their creations.  The sessions are drop in and just £1 per child which includes refreshments.
